ONE OF A KIND PIECES
Rianna and Nina met by chance at a vintage furniture fair where they quickly realized that they both share a passion for vintage fabric, vibrant prints, traveling and a positive way of living. It was the beginning of a colorful journey.

Rianna Nektaria Kounou is from Athens, Greece, and was raised by parents with a deep understanding of fine fabrics in a creative and colorful surrounding. Until this day, her designs for Rianna + Nina are influenced by her family and cultural background. After receiving an education in costume design, she could no longer resist following her biggest passion – vintage clothing. In 1987, she opened a vintage store in Athens and called it “Berlin”. For almost 20 years, Rianna was the face of high quality and rare vintage pieces in Greece. She worked with magazines, celebrities and surprised her clients with an amazing knowledge of fashion from past decades. In 2009, her adventurous heart made her and her family move to Berlin to open her latest vintage boutique “Rianna in Berlin”. Today, her store is the go-to spot for dreamful clothing, rare designer finds, jewelry and inimitable accessories.
Nina Kuhn is from a small town close to Frankfurt, Germany. At a young age, she was fascinated by everything colorful and always dreamed of working in the fashion industry one day. Nina came one step closer to this dream when she became a trainee in a PR agency for luxury labels where she got to work with clients like Etro and Cartier. While finishing her bachelor’s degree, she continued to work in the industry in Munich, New York and Paris. A few years later, Nina moved to Milan to receive a master’s degree in Fashion and Design Management at the Bocconi University. Her love for Berlin brought her back to the city in 2010 where she started working as the Head of Marketing of Communication at Galeries Lafayette. After four interesting years, she was ready for a new adventure…
